ACCOMMODATIONS

Our brand new yurts are high quality structures manufactured in British Columbia, Canada. The seven foot side walls are made of Canadian Douglas Fir, the rafters are beautiful lodge pole pine and the roof is topped with a clear five foot diameter Lexan dome skylight. A durable insulated cover helps keep the yurt weathertight and warm.

The 24-foot yurt provides 454 square feet of comfortable, unique living space. Each yurt has a queen bed with down duvet and cozy flannel sheets. There is also a convertible sofa bed for extra guests. The yurts have a private bathroom with a shower and a fully equipped kitchenette, complete with a fridge, microwave oven, blender and coffee maker. Relax in your yurt after an exhilarating day of yoga, hiking, swimming or kayaking. Beautiful French doors open onto your private deck, overlooking the Kootenay Lake.

The 28-foot Studio Yurt provides 615 square feet of space for a workshop, reunion or one of our many yoga classes/retreats. It has six large windows encircling the perimeter of the structure.

Our Yurts are modern versions of ancient shelters used by Asian nomads centuries ago. Yurts today are beautiful and fully engineered, while at the same time retaining the simplicity of the original yurt.
